Comparing Senator Obama To A Monkey
Posted on July 7th, 2008 @ 10:01 pm

This sign is outside the Georgia Peach Oyster Bar in Paulding County, Georgia:

Owner, Patrick Lonzo says “…he has no regrets, no apologies… and that they’re still entitled to put their own sign up, if it offends them, fine, in the United States we still have free speech, the only thing that hasn’t been taken from us”

When asked if he is a racist, he says “No, I believe in your right or my right to say whatever you want without being critized as a racist”.

He is delusional if he thinks that he is not racist. I agree that we are all entitled to free speech and he should be able to say whatever he wants but he should also at least own up to his bigotry like a man. How dare you compare Senator Obama to a monkey and then turn around and say you aren’t racist.

Some of my Georgia readers may recall this is the same guy who had the sign up several years ago when Michael Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges:
“Was Michael Jackson acquitted because he is a n*gger or a monkey?”

Yet, Mr. Lonzo says he’s not racist. The man doth protest too much.

Does It Really Matter?
Posted on June 23rd, 2008 @ 10:02 pm

I’m a bit disappointed that one of my favorite Christian prayer websites is making a huge deal about whether or not Senator Barack Obama is really a Christian. Now I may get flack from my Christian friends, but in my opinion, I don’t think it matters a whole lot if he is Christian or not. Look at President George Bush, he is a Christian, and many people are disappointed with his leadership right about now.

No matter who will be our next President, I think they will have a hard time trying to ‘fix’ all the issues and problems that were left behind, started, and created under Bush leadership. I’m just saying…

But anyway, I have so much more to say about this, but I just got off work and I’m having a hard time getting my thoughts together. In the meantime, what do you think? Does it matter of our next president is Christian or not?
