I will say this, anyone who doesn't understand how this could happen has not met up with a real con like this guy. Although her story reeks of possible self-esteem issues, the guy was a pro at lying. He knew how to lye a would probably change the subject immediately after being questioned like talking marriage or babies or their future "dreams" when he thought he was loosing his grip. She is lucky he didn't leave her with a child (like the first wife we know of in Chicago) or something worse. There is so much to this story not being told.
